Sometimes a dream comes into your life so unexpectedly that it changes everything forever. I still remember that day as if it were yesterday: I opened Facebook and saw the presentation of a new litter at Holstep’s. And my very first thought was: “What a pity… I will never have a dog like this.” At that time, I was living in Kharkiv, in a freshly renovated apartment. I already had Kai, and the idea of getting another puppy seemed absolutely crazy. But there was something stronger than logic — passion, a calling of the heart. And that is how Barbie came into my life. From that day on, she became much more than just a dog. Barbie is my quiet and faithful friend, always by my side, always understanding me without words. She gave us wonderful daughters who stayed with us, and her children now live in families all over the world — in England, the USA, Norway, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Ukraine. Every time I see them, I feel such joy that I once trusted my dream. Barbie became the foundation of our chocolate line and the soul of everything we are building. Every day I thank her for her love, for her children and grandchildren who bring happiness to families in many corners of the world. Barbie is my dream that became part of our family forever.
