✨ Courtesan – Our Magical Girl Courtesan became part of our family in the most unexpected way. We decided to keep her as Barbie’s last daughter, since Barbie could no longer be part of our breeding program, and in Courti we saw the reflection of her mother in her youth. Later, we thought it might be better to find a family for Courtesan. A young breeder from the USA showed interest, paid a deposit, and agreed to meet me in New York when I traveled there for a breeding. Everything was arranged — she would take Courti and pay the balance upon delivery. But life had other plans. Even before leaving, I had doubts: maybe Courti should stay with us? As soon as we landed in the USA and I wrote to confirm the meeting, things turned surreal. The girl never showed up. Fortunately, I was able to buy Courti a return ticket, and she happily came back home to Italy. And then we understood: none of this was an accident. Courtesan is our magical girl — she crossed the ocean, got socialized in airports, walked the streets of New York, and then returned home full of joy. Sometimes, it is the heart we must follow, not the mind… especially when it comes to dogs.
